There is always something

There is always something – and there should be. A while back, I asked myself if I was a dog (not a dawg), more specifically a working dog like a Border Collie, or perhaps a draft horse like a Shire (they are so beautiful, our resemblance is uncanny).

Anyway, I like it when I have many tasks going on. It gets me on my toes, and my brain just works a little bit faster and sharper. Not to forget – I enjoy doing less, or sometimes nothing, just as much. That is pretty healthy after an intense period of work (something I think people in general are quite bad at).

Right now, there are many deliverables in my two assignments. In parallel, I’m about to send off my updated manuscript for a second reading to my editor (did you see that – my editor, I just love it!). At the same time, I’m exploring taking on an additional assignment for another type of book project, setting up a webshop for prints and books, AND start to explore my next book project about Bjäre.

Why am I writing this? To brag, of course… No (remember how quiet I am during most of the year? Especially on LinkedIn, where this post also is posted). BUT I am a believer in putting things out there – because then they have a better chance of getting the attention (from me and serendipity) that they deserve, and thereby becoming reality. Even if it takes a while. You know, I need to rest in-between.
