A glance in the rearview mirror

I try to be grateful and thankful. I’m not it every day – maybe I should start. But quite often I catch moments and I realize and appreciate the good things in my life.

That I do now. More from a professional point of view, rather than life itself. The last few weeks I’ve been in a “flow”. New ideas, taking steps forward and investing in my business’s future, not monetarily, but more strategically and practically.

Today, when I listened to the latest episode of Happy Business – a podcast by Linnea Molander, I realized yet another thing:

During the 12 (?) years, I’ve been self-employed, I have taken many steps to evolve my business. In the way I want, not necessarily what others want/expect/think etc. etc.

And I’m proud. For me it’s about continuing to evolve, to try, to learn and, above all, to do. One of the things I appreciate the most (not saying that others would want this) is that I’m in a position, where I do not need to be at a specific place at a specific time every day of the week. To have the time and the money to let me do “my own projects”. To me, that is freedom and happiness.

What about you?
