To be needed

The biggest sorrow for us as a parents, is when we have succeeded in creating independent people of our children.

When they were two and you couldn’t move a step before they cried to be with you/on you, maybe happiness wasn’t always the prominent feeling. But now when they are nineteen, I love the fact that they call me to ask the most simplest things. I’m needed.
