In communication and especially in change communication, the most important thing to manage, is expectations. This is the fine act of balancing marketing and selling hypes with reality.
In parenting this doesn’t happen too often. Simply because there is no one responsible but yourself for the change to come and as human beings we tend to take the easiest way out i.e. happy flow.
So, when people, including myself, start complaining about our offsprings it is simply because we have done too little investigation and not gearing up for the times to come.
If you channel your emotions and frustrations towards your child you need to quit immediately and start banging your head into a concrete wall for not doing your homework good enough, allowing you to bring on completely off the walls expectations.
It’s nobody’s fault, just you who wasn’t prepared enough.
