Applause

I am proud over myself. Not so much for the fact that I today left a 12.5 year long (really ridiculous when I think about it) employment at one of the most well known brands in the world, IKEA.

But I am proud over the fact that when I told my kids that today was my last day, the gave me a round of applause. I really do not know why or if they had any bigger thoughts around it (of course they are my children but MENSA has not demanded their membership), but it felt good. They were supporting (probably without even knowing it) and this show that however my own business goes, I still seem to foster (with their father of course) great children.

You know what, that is the only thing that matters in the end.

Hurray for me.
