A while back I “promoted” Dad Haromony as an expample of the essence of Swedishness, Now I would like to take the opportunity to again promote something wonderful. Again it’s about music.
Swedish public service (SVT) wanted to make a tribute to ABBA, who 50 years ago won the Eurovision (a lot of good things happened 50 years back…) and to tribute music’s ability to unite, move and create new memories.
Naturally the song was good from the start, but the idea to combine to many musicians in this way, made it brilliant. It became so much more than a tribute to ABBA. It became a tribute to Sweden (the cinematography!) to Swedish music and Swedish musicians.
A documentary of the making of the music video was also made. Enjoy!
