Why don’t I just shut up?

As a parent I have a hard time to not fall in to the advisory role. When sharing my advise I assume a lot of things (and you know, when you assume you make an ass out of you and me), including my way of looking at a situation/problem (but who says that the other person looks upon the situation the same way, he/she maybe doesn’t see a problem at all…)

I will practice that. To not project my way of thinking. Instead be interested in their way of looking at the situation.

I promise.
