Development talk

Today, we went to Sam's development talk at school. His teacher updated us on how he is doing both academically and socially. Right now things are under control I must say.

The fun thing is that the entire class is doing exceptionally well for 6 year old small people. In a very Swedish way I think it is great that the class is more or less on the same level, this will be great when they start 1st class next year. Since the majority know how to read already will mean that they can go a little bit faster forward, without anyone suffering.
Tomorrow is Friday and our day off. Sam wanted to be free from school just as his smaller brother. I decided to do that, in just a couple of moths he will not be able to do that, so we better enjoy it while we can.
Fabian got to go home with a friend after kindergarten. Since we arrived to school at the same time as he was picked up I got to see how proud he was when HE (and not his brother) was going home with a friend.

  1. Isn't it fun when the younger sibling gets to do something that usually the older one gets to do! I love to watch their faces and you are right….they are so proud that they are the ones getting to do whatever it is that they are doing. My youngest has been thrilled with every milestone…in fact, she is a bit impatient for them to get here. When she finally got to go to overnight camp, I thought she would burst with pride!

  2. This very valuable opinion
