Happier

Today I’m happier, especially when I don’t think about yesterday and when thinking of the Sam who passed his exam to his red belt in taekwondo. Proud! Of course.

Why me so happy?

Because I chose to be. Yes, it might sound harsh, not especially humble and too simplified, but I really truly believe it is the truth. Happy as in how I approach life. Not happy as I go around everyday laughing (but I do laugh at least once a day. With my husband, my kids, they are…

I am…

… the happiest woman alive. I am going through the videos on my YouTube channel and realize that I am truly blessed. I have a good life and if I wouldn’t understand and cherish it I should be burnt on the Walpurgis Night bonfire, like any common witch of 17th century.

Leadership

I got the best grade from our 12-year old the other day. We were to mention three characteristics about each-other. He said (about me): Happy, loves her family (can be an adjective in Swedish) and… proper. Happy, yes that’s what everybody says, no surprise there. Proper, apparently I’m fooling someone ;). But “loves her family” – dang. Straight…

Coming home

I went to a CSR meeting yesterday. CSR – Corporate Social Responsibility. It was like I found a word for what I, as a communicator always have been about. Transparency and balance. But what hasn’t been the focus of the corporate forces. For me it was like coming home.

Win-win

It is Monday and I am happy. It is as simple as that. The resons for my happiness are multiple. I have received positive feedback (which you know that I am sucker for), gotten the possibility to write some more (pro bono of course) and getting to know new people. I also got a hug and…

To spell happiness

Happiness can be spelled in so many ways. Like : “Finding your product-id for your Office software after you needed to reinstall your computer”. (And here was supposed to be a video from the 90’s of a song with the words “Hapappapy …ppy.. Feel when wee’re together..” But now I spent 30 minutes looking for it…

This happy stuff

Currently I am failing miserably at this “happy” thing. I do have short highs, but something brings me down all too fast. This is nothing new. This is how life (mine) is and one gotta continue to live. Personally I need to find some new truths and adjust my world to something that it clearly…

Thank you

I am feeling truly grateful that I have a mind of a Teflon frying pan. Nothing sticks to me, for long. I can get gruesomely angry and upset (as you saw in my last post), but then it is gone and I focus on the the good parts in life, like when you play Uno…

To change or not

“It is not the strongest or the most intelligent who will survive but those who can best manage change.”  ― Charles Darwin I read his quote on a restroom wall in Lisbon, Portugal once and since then it really stuck to me. In my strive for personal happiness I live by it (even if I, at times, am…
