Mother Nature swung whatever magical wand she might have and presented yet another fabulous day. Even-though I was stuck in the office the majority of the day,  a phone call from my “oh, so wise husband” (yes, that is the verdict of the hour) changed the outcome.

On his advise I played hooky and left the office about 30 minutes earlier then usual. Drove home (with, you know what, on full volume) packed swimwear and towels. Picked the kids up and drove to the beach.

45 minutes of lovely sunbeams, warm air, perfect ocean temperature, giggly children, a very happy mother, and memories for rainy November evenings were created. Only available in the heads of the participants.

I don’t want it to end, but if does I am done. Summer of 2013 was magic.
