Hmmm, how incredible small the world becomes with social media. And how transparant (it can be).
I just noticed that a stranger “checked out” several of my social media accounts.
My first initial instinct was – OMG I have an online stalker. Quite fast I came to my senses and realized that a mother of two, in a small village on the Swedish west coast might not be considered the hottest stalker object.
After the initial schock had faded away, I chose to see my social media presence as a benefit. The more accounts I have on different social media platforms, the better/fuller or more complete the picture of me becomes (then if it is true or not, that is a different story). I am out there, taking part of the oppertunity to be recognized, heared and seen, with the viewpoint that one never knows what it will lead to.
And I rather be there, “telling my side of the story” while waiting for that big something to happen, than not take the free ticket given to me, right under (litterary) my nose.
I am a social media junkie.
