Halloween preparations

OK, Halloween is NOT a big thing in Sweden. But with two boys one age almost 7, ghosts draculas, demons and skeletons are fun. Therefore I took on the american tradition of making pumpkin lanterns – s.c. Jack o’ Lanterns. Can’t remember doing it when I was in the US, but I know I did it once with my last job, when our American customer service team was over in Halloween times.

So, me off to the supermarket buying three darn expensive decoration pumpkins and brought home for us and a friend of Sam’s to carve.

Here you can see the amazing result. I am especially proud of the bat I succeeded to carve! Although there is another week we put the on the steps and lit them. It all resulted in that Kinchie attacked them after here evening walk.

You did a fabulous job on the bat! Those small details are very difficult to do, when carving a pumpkin. I have two daughters that are going to carve. I am not sure yet what will be carved. We will probably carve them later in the week. I will post pictures.

You are making cupcakes too (reading the comment above). I look forward to seeing those as well. You are busy.
