The day passed without me getting the things done that I planned! What a surprise – not. After a play date for Sam, I took the boys and the dog to a the beach for a picnic – it is so good when you can enjoy yourself with no much.
Tonight there is some serious editing to do.

These sort of impromptu outings are the best. When I was growing up my parents used to occasionally pack up some food things and we’d have a barbecue “down the paddock”. (We lived on a farm).
