In Swedish we "put" potatoes, I have no idea what you do with them in English. Plant them? Anyway, Fabian and I put some in the ground last weekend, to get some more, eco grown, locally produced ones for Midsummer.
And here, my little accountant. Well, I am sure he won't become that. But he is cute.

Plant is correct, as is to "put" them in the ground. I tried potatoes once, as I remember planting acres of them at my grandparent's. Didn't work out so well for me though…there are so many potatoes around here, though, that you can almost always get them for free, so I didn't try again.
Your son is cute in your glasses! Looks like you all had a good time putting in the potatoes as well!
