I am happy I chose to settle down close to the ocean. I love it. Yesterday was a beautiful but somewhat windy evening on the beach. But still I decided to take the boys and some of their friends down for a evening play.

I saw the ocean for the first time, on my way to college, right after I got married. My husband stopped the truck on the side of the highway, woke me up and we walked out to the ocean in the middle of the night. It was incredible. I've loved it ever since. Someday I'm going to live on a beach, too!
It is an amazing feeling of being free when you stand by it.
