As we say in Sweden – all of a sudden it happens

We have had the local and very good (and very expensive) electrician for more or less all the electric work we have done in da house. This spring and summer we had them over some extra sockets and outdoor speakers. When they mounted the speakers they did not have the time (WHAT?!) to put up the outdoor lighting that we had planned. This was, in the end, all good since friends of ours had a much better idea (thanks Lillen and Ingegerd). 

Every now and then we have seen the "electric man" around in town, wondering if he had forgotten all about us or if he was planning to come and finish our deal.

Yesterday he called and voluntarily asked to come over and finish it all. I was, and still is, astonished, but knew that it was bound to happen since it time for him close his finical year. (And lets face it it would cost him more to bill us for the job they've done than he would gain. Now the bill be worth sending because this electric things in old houses are apparently harder then even the best electrician could expect! But we are very pleased with the result.

The Friday has been a very good day. Sam has a friend over for sleep over and I have been watching Inglourious Basterds – think Tarantino is a genius!
