I have understood that hockey is a tough sport. Then I am not thinking about the physical ordeals one has as player. No I am thinking of the tough life as a hockey mum/parent. Early (and I mean EARLY) starts on Sunday mornings. Cold hockey arenas etc etc. ( I think it is the early mornings I dread the most.)
Anyway, Sam’s been skating at school and there they are playing “hockey” on the frozen lake. Maybe I do not believe him to be the star of the team, but today when we had our little chat at bedtime he told me how he scored. When telling I could hear something close to excitement in his voice. Something I have never heard in it when the subject has been about sports. π
Maybe we should take this opportunity. To actually support something he seem to show some interest in.
Although it might lead to alarms at 05.00 am on Sunday mornings.
