Superficial

I know it is superficial and low to be wanting things. Especial when the things you want is not good health, world peace, stopping poverty and happy lives for all. 

But I really want a new LED TV 40-42 inch one. Our old TV is a slim model but most definitely one of the absolute first "slim" ones, which makes it quite fat.
Samsung has good ones. I want one and to that a new couch which we all will fit in.

    We still have a huge box of an analog TV (61") purchased in 1997. I designed the wall around it so when I up grade I'm going to have to redesign the wall and hire some expert carperter- drywall workmen.

    yes i balance wanting things with the desire to not be overly materialistic, too. i think it's a modern condition! i guess it's about awareness, perhaps. like being sensitive to vegetarianism and the ethics of eating animals but still doing it. being aware.

    I think most things are about awareness. Being enlightened enough to take decisions that one can stand behind.
