Gothenburg with a runny nose

I went to Gothenburg yesterday, to visit OLD (it is better to just face it) friends. But maybe that is what is so spectacular. That we, after 25-30 years, still keep in touch and try to hook up a couple pf times a year.

It is is quite amazing when you haven't talked for some months (excluding a Facebook chat, an occasional mail or comments on blogs) that the conversation runs smoothly straight away. On the other hand, it is not amazing at all, that is probably why we are still friends.
I am not overly religious, Acctually I don't think religius is a word anyone would use on me, therefore I am sceptical to use the word "blessed". But on the other hand, that is what I am. My friends are very smart (i.e. you can have extremely good conversations with them from diapers to world politics), they are hard working (well, as hard that we belive we get payed for, I said we were smart), moms and all of them (myself included) have men that are all part of making the everyday life with the above possible (apparently still not common in our country today).
I guess what I want to say, is that I truly don't think that there are that many of us. And I wonder if it is our uppbringing that have made us what we are (independant, strong minded, happy women),  since we are quite different as personalities.
Whatever, good friends I have – I am lucky!
