Robbed

Last Friday it happened – we got robbed. Very much consciously so, but still. That day’s excursion went to Mölle on the Kulla peninsula. The main goal for that day was to go to Mölle krukmakeri, a pottery which I had heard so many positive things about. She is really good and the place is very cosy. We didn’t buy anything but if you are looking for a gift to me and happen to pass by…. feel free – I liked all her stuff.

Since this vacation really has been a vacation for us parents (the kids has never woken up before 08.30, usually we are up at 07.00) it was almost lunch time when we arrived to Mölle. We discussed a little of where to eat and Tobias suggested a very well known cafe called Flickorna Lundgren. Eventhough we are brought up in “the area” we had never been there. Flickorna Lundgren is what we in Swedish call a tourist trap, i.e. damn expensive. I knew this and warned Tobias about it, but he did a rough estimate and said let’s go for it. First, Tobias and math have never been the best combination… but it wasn’t his fault, as I said our decision was consious. But the 50€ bill for three sandwiches, two glasses of REAL strawberry lemonade, one pot of coffee and four cookies was still just a tad more than I had expected.Tobias tried to even it out a bit by drinking another pot of coffee just because the additional were for free.

But hey, new money will land in our bank accounts and sometimes one just has to live a little. For some reason it didn’t feel that bad since it was a consious decision and then it doesn’t feel that bad…right? But sometimes you just have to live! If I go again, I will make sure I won’t be paying…

Ha ha, samma känsla som jag fick med mig från Irland. Rånad, alltså. Jeeezuz vad sker och ting (läs mat) kostar pengar där! Men som du säger: lika bra att slappna av och njuta.
    Vi ses snart!
