I love my parents. I have very loving, supporting and committed parents. But still they are my parents and there are things I wish to have different in my relationship with my own children as the grow older.

Yesterday they turned up for a short visit, both have received both shots of the vaccine and are now out and about again – naturally with a distance. My dad loves animals. If it’s possible to rate love, it goes as follows:

• Grandchildren
• Pets not far off the grandchildren
• Me and my sister (on good days)
• Candy
• Mum

So both dad and Buddy where extremely happy with their visit.
