I constantly tell myself that I do not need other peoples confirmation to know I am a good  photographer. But it sure doesn’t kill me.

I posted a while back that a friend of mine said that I am quite good (at photography, among things). I value her view points since she is a good Art Director and has a darn good track record and experience in her field. But still. She is a freind and friends are good to one another.

But today I heard it again. This time by an acquaintanc, but not a friend. Also this person works with advertising and communication (it sure helps when experts have an opinion). The person said (translation made by uncertified translator):

“Jesus, Mary and Joseph, the pictures were great – I knew you where a photgrapher, but OMG what wonderfully beautiful pictures you take. I can not but wonder why you do not do this full time? Really, really good pictures […].”

I don’t know why I tell you this. In the land of Jante, this is nothing but bragging and will leave me with minimum 12 whippings, when I enter the door of Hades. I guess I am proud. Really really proud. And maybe it is time, time to take the plunge.
