I can’t help my self. I need to return to this discussion about equality between the sexes.

It is still so, generally, that more women in Sweden take, consiously or not, more responsibilty for the home, family and children. Generally.

Generally, or straight facts I would say, more women than men work part-time.

Is it only because men are selfish offsprings of Satan? Or is it so that women expect themselves to do it. Or is it so, like in my own case, because I want to?

But maybe it is, more the fact than the reason, my choice to spend more time with my children what breaks it for many others. This is why women earn less, get fewer offers to top positions or just not noticed?

Should I give up my right to work part time, in order for a more equal society. So the women WHO want to make a career worth mentioning, have a fair chance. Maybe I should. But I won’t.

Instead I try to foster my sons to see the individual. To look beyond the sterortypes. Billions of years have created us the way we are. It won’t change over night. But I take my step
