Yesterday I ended a project (even though it for technical reasons can’t be called project internally… yes, it is important to focus on the real business critical things… ) that I have been running since mid December. It has been great fun with great people.

On Monday I’ll start in a new one. Not running it though. Thank God! I have a gut feeling, that it is oing to be a challenge without compairison, but I also have the feeling that is going to be good, for one particular reason. I’ll let you know if my gut was right or not.

Until then (Monday) I will drop anything connected to my main source of income and just have good times. The kids are off to our grandparent’s. One at each place, and the Mr and I will enjoy some child free time (well, the Mr is actually doing some working).

Our kids have reached an age where we have the possibility to choose what to do with that free time. Before it was more “Great stuff, now I can do all the practical chores we need to do with out beeing interrupted.” A feeling impossible to grasp or fully appreciate until one have children.

But nowadays, we have no problem doing all that without being interrupted.  I can probably do a full day of gardeing with out having one child die out of eating too much soil, killing the other with a rake or digging up my new plants.

So, what are we doing? We are going to go on an insane shopping bonanza. I wish I could have said … in NYC! but  that would be a lie. But we are happy anyway! We will squeeze in some good food, good drinks and a spa visit as well.

Because we are worth it!
