It is not very common for Swedes to be proud of them selves. As a matter of fact we are not allowed (no, not for governmental/non democratic reasons, it is more a cultural thing).

Never the less, I believe that 10 December is a good day to be proud as a Swede. That we as a country supports and stands up for the academic values of humanity. As a couner weight of the many superficial and idle things that are characterized so much we as humans) focus on today.

So, I happy that I am Swedish.
