A life is full of milestones. This becomes very apparent if you are a parent. When you stop breastfeeding, when the child takes his/her first steps, when he/she stops wearing diapers and when they start biking WITHOUT training wheels.
Yesterday, June 18 Fabian stopped with his. We, his dad to be more correct, dismounted the pedals on his bike to make it a running bike. A genius way to make your kids start biking. After his older brother showed him how to use it we realized quite quickly (say 20 meters or so) that he had the balance to start biking him self.
So on with the pedals again and off he was.
Yes, I know, they soon will be moving out. Hopefully somewhere exciting so mum can visit.

We were watching home movies yesterday with the children and there were all kinds of kids of different ages uses what we call, "training wheels." One girl that was at least three years older than Josh at the time, was using one training wheel. That was too cute. It seemed like there was no set age for taking them off. There were kids from age 3 to 3rd grade using training wheels. I have also seen a boy as young as 3 learn to ride without but that was the vast exception.
