Teeth and rice

There is probably three things you want your children to believe in as long as they can: Santa Claus, goodness in all and the Tooth fairy.

For them to do that, you, as a parent, need to be very aware and handle all your cards right. Like NOT throwing away your sons first tooth in the garbage (no, I will not be one of those who saves my children's first lock of hair or their milk teeth – disgusting).
So what do you do then, when your sleeping son wakes up and asks to see that first tooth that he lost earlier and you have already thrown it away? Naturally, you look for it. But, it is hard, damn hard to find a small tooth in a garbage bag full of yesterdays' rice. But you succeed and show him how you put that tooth in a glass of water which will, if the parents don't forget, turn in to a coin by tomorrow. Leading to your sons future belief in the tooth fairy, Santa Claus and goodness in all man kind.
An advice from me to you – never throw rice and the first (or any) tooth on the same day, if you want your children to keep on believing.
