Vacation

The first week of our vacation will be and has been quite hectic. But worth every second. There is no bigger joy than

to  watch a short play where the characters are really goofin’ out and to hear your five year old laugh out loud.

We have spent two days, one in rain, rain, rain at Astrid Lindgren’s world. It is a theme park with live theatre acts and miniature settings of most of the characters after one of Sweden’s most famous child-book writer. If one knows this great author and her characters, it is a wonderful place. The place also brings back some of ones own memories. On our way back to Skottorp we spent one night outside Karlskrona to be able to visit the Children’s farm. Minature everything, excavators, tractors, animals and a water park. Both these stops was worth every penny. IF you have kids go – NOW, if you don’t, borrow one or two and go.

Our last stop was grandma’s. There we were served newly made cinnemon rolls and dinner, couldn’t be better.

Tonight friends are coming over and tomorrow we are heading for High Chaparall any cowboy boy’s dream.
