Midsummer

The Swedish of all Swedish traditions are now over – Midsummer. A big thank you to our neighbours who prepared and carried through a great party with all the expected ingredients.

I also thank my kids who behaved as I actually have raised them (OK, not that cheek pinch Fabian conducted). The man was working and these kind of traditions and family outings are just not the same when you are used to have a man next to you. But as I said, the boys behaved really well so I have nothing to complain about.

And complain I can not and need not to do. Except the need for some days off I am very, very at ease (at ease is the the equivalent to true happiness, but also the best way for me to, in words, try to express how I experience total bliss).

Today's things that got me to feel very, very at ease:

  • Two fantastic boys (today has been a great mom/son day)
  • Two fantastic parents (usually not the perfect match, but when they want they are acctually a joy to be around)
  • A fantastic horse experience (Mr S is a wonderful horse, I wish I had more time)
  • A clean house (at least one floor, and what more do you really need, remeber to appriciate what you have vs what you don't have…)
  • An attractive (oh, I wish I could have called him husband) father to my children whom I share a home and mortgages with.
