Why soccer practise?

This is a question, a lady friend and I usually ask ourselves app three times per week when the season is on for our men. A boring happening that consumes a lot of time away from the family.

Now I am asking it regarding Sam. Sam has, as you know, just turned four, so he is not a big guy (even-though he sometimes stuns me with something quite similar to intelligence). So naturally it is not easy for him to really know or communicate WHAT he wants or do not want to do (yet, sometimes he is very precise). However, I spent 1 hour and 15 minutes on soccer practice, which is more play than soccer which is just the way I want it. IF the little sun of a gun participated!

I don’t know if it is too much to ask for, but I am not going to a gym to sit and watch other kids play stones, make frog leaps or take drink breaks. I am more than willing to do it if my children actually likes it (well, yeah the drink break is appreciated and done very frequently) but otherwise I am not so sure… But I do understand that how will you know that you like doing something if you don’t try and at the same time, it is time with friends and naturally it is worth more than a millions stones, frog leaps and drink breaks.

Tobias will be one of the coaches later this spring, so maybe his attitude will change then, or maybe he is not the next Beckham (to his fathers big disappointment). I don’t care what he does (OK, raping women, murdering people or taking drugs) as long as he enjoys doing it.

By the way, thank God for moms like mine, who backups and help out in different ways when needed. Love her!
